Who We Are 

We are a collection of dedicated sport and performance psychology coaches, former professional players, curriculum creators, and coaches with a common goal - to help individuals and teams develop their MENTAL High Performance Mindset.

Dr. Lee Hancock - Founder, CEO, Chief Content Creator, Instructor 

 

Lee earned his Masters and PhD from ASU and is a tenured professor in Kinesiology at CSUDH. He has a private practice, where among other things, he is a Mental Performance Coach working with professional athletes, coaches at all levels, students, parents and organizations. Lee's nearly 25 years of experience in this space has positively impacted many, including Olympic, pro and youth soccer athletes, MLS champions, leadership and coaching staff, boards of directors and parents of athletes across multiple sports. 

 

In addition, Lee currently works with the LMU Lions mens soccer team - finishing in the NCAA "Elite Eight" in 2023.  He also works for US Soccer as the lead Sport Psychology Coach Educator for the USSF "A" Youth, Senior and Academy Director Licenses where he designed and wrote the content for each license and delivers modules throughout the country each year. 

 

Lee has also been, and continues to be, involved in soccer. He has his USSF ‘A’ license and has coached in various roles spanning all levels for nearly three decades, including an assistant coaching role in the MLS. He has published three books, most recently Talent Zones. Lee has developed and implemented complete soccer curricula and coach and parent education programs for MLS and youth soccer clubs throughout the country and serves as an ongoing trusted advisor to multiple clubs and esteemed coaches – all which ultimately led to the creation of this company.

Simon Elliott - Content Advisor   

 

Simon Elliott is a retired professional soccer player.  Simon played professionally in the English Premiere League as well as multiple teams in the MLS, including playing for his national team and representing New Zealand in the 2010 World Cup.  Prior to becoming a successful pro, Simon was an outstanding college student athlete at Stanford University.

Simon has his USSF Pro License and is currently an assistant coach with the New Zealand National Team as well as head coach and boys director at Davis Legacy.  He earned his Masters Degree in Education from The University of California with a focus on creating and implementing off-the-field programs for soccer players.

Steve Cooke - Content Advisor   

 

Steve Cooke is a Professional Soccer Coach with coaching roles at various North American Soccer Clubs in the MLS and USL.  Steve is currently the head coach of MLS Next Pro team, Atlanta United 2.  Steve began his coaching career at Sheffield Wednesday as a youth Academy Coach and moved to the states in the late 90's where he worked for various clubs on his way to eventually becoming the head coach of the Colorado Rapids.

Steve is a graduate of Carnegie College in England and holds both the UEFA “A” Coaching License, the USSF “A” Coaching License and received his Pro License in 2018.

Marc Sagal - Content Advisor   

 

With an extensive background in psychology, philosophy and sport, Marc has developed a unique ability to help leaders and athletes identify and develop the qualities most likely to provide a meaningful contribution to success. His work as a management consultant, executive coach and sport psychology consultant has been featured by FOX Sports, Men’s Health, CIO magazine and American Airlines’ Celebrated Living, to name a few.

Marc has delivered assessment, training and performance coaching to a wide variety of organizations, including Microsoft, J.P. Morgan, Vans, Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC.

 

Marc earned his Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from San Diego State University with highest honors. He received his “A” level coaching license from the USSF, was registered as a professional with the USSF and competed both in Europe and United States.
